5/22/04   Tri-Copc members picket outside the MDEQ's 25th Anniversary Conference in Traverse City.

Tri-Copc members were on the scene to give the other side of the story when the MDEQ celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Michigan Wetlands Protection Act.  See a copy of the anniversary flyer Tri-Copc handed out at the rally.

Annie Goetz, Tri-Copc President protesting in the rain.  A friendly conference goer thankfully provided Annie with some shelter from the elements.

Marian Jenkins, Tri-Copc Secretary, the two-fisted fighter for Michigan's environment.  Hey you guys, stop dumping on my State!

A short side trip on the way home from the conference shows that on any given day you may see numerous trailers parked at the landfill.  Hmmm.  I wonder where these trailers came from--and what is or was in them.

Tri-Copc has nothing against seagulls, but they are much nicer to look at over the lake--not in the middle of the road going to the landfill feasting on trash which falls from the trucks.
